Fashion Advice to Remember Forever

1 The Perfect Fit
Make sure your clothes fit you!  Don’t squeeze into sizes that are too small, and don’t thing those baggy jeans are hiding anything either. Tight clothing can make you look bigger than you actually are, baggy clothing just looks, well, blah.
2 Busy Busy Way Too Busy
Too much of one thing can turn into an outfit disaster.  Don’t over do it, balance things out.  Don’t wear purple shoes with a purple dress, just because they match doesn’t mean they will look good together.  Choose one or the other, save the purple shoes to wear with a solid black dress, make the shoes the main attraction. Matchy-matchy is a bad thing.
3 Inappropriate Clothing
Dress for the occasion, there’s a time and a place for everything.  Not being appropriately dressed is one of the most common dress code mistakes.  Besides it can be humiliating to show up to a ball game or a BBQ dressed like your going for a night out on the town.
4 Spider Lashes
Don’t over-do the lashes; enhance what you already have.  You want people to believe they’re real, don’t glue on a catastrophe, besides overly thick falsies can make it hard for you to see.  And as far as mascara goes, once it has dried onto your lash, you’re done.  Don’t keep re-applying, you’ll end up with clumpy, clumpy, and more clumps.
5 Clean Out Your Closet
As the seasons change it’s time to move on; now, everyone knows that there’s no white after Labor day.  The rules apply to bright summer dresses and florals too. Don’t get me wrong you can still wear floral print etc.  Just cover them with a knit sweater or a denim jacket.
6 Black is Boring
Only wear an all black outfit to a funeral, court, or maybe a business event.
7 Nudies
Make absolute sure you stalk up on nude bras and panties; always wear them with light clothing, no peek-a-boo’s.

Natural Curls by Twisting your Hair

Twist-up curls, no need for the curling iron.
This is a technique that will give your hair a natural, wavy, beachy curl look.

Step 1.  Wash your hair with your favorite shampoo and conditioner.
Step 2.  Apply a leave in conditioner and brush your hair.
Step 3.  Towel dry your hair.
Step 3.  Apply a SMALL amount of light styling cream from hair root to ends.
Step 3.  Blow-dry your hair to the point it is almost dry, but still a little moist.  Try to give your hair body while blow-drying it by taking sections with a round brush, elevating and brushing your hair upwards.
Step 4.  Clip most of your hair up leaving a section at the bottom, neck area, about three inches from hair line.
Step 5.  Starting at the bottom section, begin taking chunks of your hair and twirling them, twirl them just like a twisted cinnabun or pretzel (the tighter you twirl, the more waves / curls you will get).  Secure each twirl loosely with a bobby pin.
Step 6.  Twirl hair making sections, working your way up to the top of your head.
Step 7.  Now you are near the front / top hair area, make sure the pieces you twirl are directed in the direction you want your hair to fall, especially if you have short hair, if you have long hair this shouldn’t matter as much and the hair will fall naturally, if you have bangs, don’t twirl them.  You can part hair if desired, or you can just do the twirls in a row, parting horizontal on the top of your head.
Step 8.  Let your hair (twirls) dry naturally, since your hair is already almost dry, this shouldn’t take long.  Do your make-up while you wait.  If you’re pushed for time let your hair- dryer do the work, set it at a very low speed and hold it to your hair, don’t let the bobby pins come out.
Step 9.  Take out the bobby pins.  Don’t brush your hair, tassel through your hair with your finger tips.
Step 10.  Apply a light hair spray if desired.
Your hair is done!

Secret Tips

Ladies- I’m going to share my personal beauty tricks with you.  These are just some basic things I’ve picked up through out the years; I hope they’re beneficial and helpful.

Accidentally paint your cheek with mascara?  The fix for this is SO simple, just be patient, let it dry and it dusts right off.  Finish doing the rest of your make-up, or do your hair, by the time you’re ready to walk out the door the mascara will flake right off.
EXFOLIATE!  Buy some of those little exfoliating gloves and use them every morning- it only takes a few seconds to put them on, don’t be lazy, you’ll get used to doing it.  I promise, exfoliating helps get all the dead dry skin off so you can build new, healthy skin, you WILL notice the difference, trust me.
Run out of shaving cream?  Oh well, just shave your legs with conditioner!  Yes, I am dead serious, I use conditioner for shaving all of the time, it makes my legs SO soft.
I don’t know about you all, but my hair gets super oily.  I try not to wash it everyday, but sometimes it’s just so gross and I have to.  Anyways, loose powder does the trick!  Use your loose translucent facial powder- take your blush brush and dust it onto your hair part, dust it over the front area of your hair.  It absorbs up the oil and makes your hair look fresh and new again.
Dead Sea Salts, find a sea salt that you like, there are all different scents and types.  I enjoy using lavender sea salt- if you find the time, pour some in your bath and relax.  It cleans and moisturizes your skin, and mostly natural ingredients.
Crest Whitening strips are my absolute best friend.  You don’t even have to use them everyday like the box says, just keep them in your bathroom and use them whenever you feel like it.  I apply them as soon as I get out of the shower, so by the time I’m done getting ready I can take them off.
LIP GLOSS, Lip gloss is something that every female should keep with them at all times, I personally wouldn’t know what to do with out it.
Ever feel suffocated and / or irritated around your bikini line?  Do you ever get razor bumps?  Take my advice- DON’T wear panties to sleep, wear loose fitting bottoms, it helps.  Or, wear cotton panties, cotton panties will allow your skin to breathe and causes irritation.
I have two more pieces of advice- they are simple, yet, they are most important of all…
WATER and SPF
One, always stay hydrated- drink as much water as possible, water is good for you, it’s good for your skin and your whole body all around.
Last but not least, apply sunblock everyday, take care of your skin, you’ll have it forever.  The sun ruins your collagen; the sun will cause your skin to age more quickly.
Thank you for your time and best wishes to all, God bless.
